Ingredients

  • 2 c. water
  • 1 (10 3/4 oz) can low-sodium chicken broth
  • 1 (16 oz) cans tomatoes, chopped and undrained
  • 3/4 c. chopped celery
  • 3/4 c. chopped onion
  • 1 tsp seafood seasoning
  • 1/4 tsp lemon pepper
  • 10 oz frozen corn
  • 10 oz. frozen peas
  • 1 lb. crab meat, cooked, flaked and cartilage removed.

Preparation

Step 1

If using surimi (crab flavored blended pollock), purchase flaky style or mixture of flake and chunk.

In a 6 qt soup pot, combine water, broth, tomatoes, celery, onion, seafood seasoning and lemon pepper. Bring to a boil and simmer 20 to 30 minutes, until celery is tender and flavors blend.

add crab, peas & corn. Simmer additional 10 minutes
