Ingredients

  • 4 large apples, peeled and sliced/chunks
  • 3/4 c flour
  • 3/4 tsp baking powder
  • pinch of salt
  • 2 large eggs
  • 3/4 c sugar
  • 3 Tbsp dark rum
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla
  • 6 Tbsp melted butter

Preparation

Step 1

Grease an 8" square pan.
Mix flour, salt and baking powder and set aside.
Beat eggs and sugar together. Add rum and vanilla. Add 1/2 of the flour and 1/2 of the melted butter. Add remaining flour and butter. Fold in apples. Bake 50-60 minutes.
