Ingredients

  • 12-14 pound turkey
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon of paprika
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 stalks celery-chopped
  • 2 medium onions chopped
  • 2 large carrots chopped

Preparation

Step 1

Rub turkey with olive oil and spices.
Stuff turkey with vegetables. Place turkey on 1 inch rack breast side down, place extender ring kit on tray and place dome. Roast turkey for 12-14 minutes per pound. Turn turkey at half way point, re-season and finishing cooking. Let turkey sit for at least 10-15 minutes. Enjoy!

If cooking from frozen it would be power level high for 15-17 minutes per pound. Wet bird to allow the seasonings to adhere to the turkey. Start breast side down.

When you flip the bird at the half way cook time, take giblet bag out of bird.

Tips:
Follow the same times and temperatures for a turkey breast. Flip half way through the cooking time. Start pretty side down, on the 1-inch rack. No extender ring needed.
