German Sausage with Broccoli & Cheese

Ingredients

  • 1 1/4 lbs of German Sausage, cut diagonally into 1 inch pieces
  • 2 medium red or yellow bell peppers, cut into chunks.n Orange peppers work well too
  • 16 oz shredded cheese - Cheddar or Cheddar and chipolte
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 3 cups broccoli florets, cooked crisp-tender, drained
  • Cooked rice or noodles (optional) or
  • Oven baked potatoes

Preparation

Step 1

1) Heat a large non-stick skillet over med-hi heat for 3 minutes. Add sausage, cook sausage until lightly browned. About 5 minutes on each side.
2) Add bell pepper; cookand stir until pepper is tender. About 3 to 4 minutes.
3) Add milk and cheese and stir until cheese is melted.
4) Stir in broccoli; heat through.
5) Serve over rice or noodles or add a side of oven baked red potatoes.
