Ingredients

  • STREUSEL:
  • 1/2 c. Bisquick
  • 1/4 c. packed brown sugar
  • 1/4 c. chopped nuts
  • 2 tbsp. butter
  • PIE:
  • 3 c. sliced peeled tart apples (3med)
  • 1 tsp. ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg
  • 1/2 c. Bisquick
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. milk
  • 1 tbsp. butter, softened
  • 2 eggs

Preparation

Step 1

Heat oven to 325. Spray 9" glass pie plate w/ cooking spray. In small bowl, mix STREUSEL ingredients, cutting in butter using pasty blender till crumbly; set aside.

In med. bowl, mix apples, cinnamon, nutmeg. Spread in pie plate.

In med. bowl, stir remaining ingredients till blended. Pour into pie plate. Sprinkle w/ STREUSEL.

Bake 40-45 mins. or till knife inserted in center comes out clean and top is golden. Cool 5 mins. Store covered in refrigerator.
