Ingredients
- wide strips of zest from two lemons
- 2 cups simple syrup (recipe follows)
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 cups lemon juice
- 2 cups water
- some lemon slices
- simple syrup
- 1 1/2 cups each sugar and water add the strips of lemon zest bring to a boil stirrring until dissolved let cool makes 2 cups

pour cooled simple syrup into pitcher stir in salt lemon juice and water add lemon slices
