Ingredients

  • Cookie:
  • 1 c. butter
  • 1 c. sour cream
  • 1 can orange juice concentrate, thawed and divided*
  • 4 c. flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 2 tbsp grated orange peel
  • 1 1/2 c. sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • Frosting:
  • 3 oz cream cheese
  • 2 c. powdered suger
  • 1 tbsp orange juice concentrate
  • 2 tbsp milk
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp grated orange peel

Step 1

Cookies:
In a large mixing bowl cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add sour cream and eggs and beat until well blended. Add orange juice concentrate and all dry ingredients to the creamed mixture. Mix well. Stir in orange peel. Drop by rounded tablespoon onto lightly greased baking sheet.
Bake at 350 for about 10 mins or until edges just begin to brown. Remove to wire racks to cool completely.

Frosting:
In a small bowl, combine frosting ingredients until smooth. Spread a small amount over each cookies. Store cookies in frig.
