Ingredients

  • 4 yellowfin tuna pieces
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/8 tsp pepper
  • 1 Tbl olive oil
  • 4 Tbl unsalted butter or margarine
  • 1 shallot, minced
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup Marsala wine
  • 1 juice of a lemon
  • 1 Tbl minced fresh herbs, chives, tarragon

Preparation

Step 1

season tuna with garlic powder and pepper
heat oil in skillet over medium high heat. cook steaks 3-4 minutes per side
SAUCE:
medium heat, melt butter, add shallot, garlic, cook stirring constantly for 2 minutes, add wine, bring to a boil, cook until sauce is reduced, stir in lemon juice and fresh herbs, spoon over tuna and serve
