Ingredients
- 2 C sugar
- 1/2 oleo
- 2 eggs, well beaten
- 4 C raw diced, peeled apples
- 2 1/2 C flour
- 1 tsp nutmeg
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 2 tsp baking soda
- CARMEL SAUCE
- 1/2 C brown
- 1/2 C white sugar
- 1 tsp flour
- 1/2 C cream
- 1/2 C butter or oleo
- 1 tsp vanilla

Preparation
Step 1
Cream together sugar and oleo
Add eggs and apples
Sift in dry ingredients. Stir well.
Put in greased 9 x 13 pan and bake at 350 deg for 45 minutes.
CARMEL SAUCE
Bring ingredients together in pan and bring to a boil.
Boil for 1 to 2 minutes. Add vanilla.
Serve either hot or cold over the cake or ice cream
