Sweet Barbecued Pork Chops

Ingredients

  • 8 boneless pork chops
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup chopped sweet onion
  • 1/2 cup each ketchup, barbecue sauce, french salad dressing and honey

Preparation

Step 1

1. In a large skillet brown pork chops in oil in batches on both sides. Return all to the skillet. Combine the remaining ingredients pour over shops. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat cover and simmer for 12-14 min or until meat thermometer reads 160.

2. Serve immediately or cool before placing in a freezer container. Cover and freeze for up to 3 months

3. TO USE FROZEN pork chops. Thaw chops in the fridge overnight. Place in skillet bring to a boil. Reduce heat cover and simmer for 6-8 min.
