  • 2 lbs. beef cubes
  • 2 (10 1/2 oz) cans beef broth
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 cup bread crumbs
  • 1 cup red wine ( merlot)
  • 1 - 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 medium onions
  • 1/2 cup flour



Step 1

Mix together beef broth, wine, flour and bread crumbs till well mixed and smooth. Add beef cubes, salt, pepper, onions (mushrooms optional) and pour into large casserole, covered and bake 3 hours. Bake the 1st hour at 375 degrees, then lower heat to 350 degrees for the remaining 2 hours. For company, double the amount of meat, but only use 1 and 1/2 times the other ingredients. Serve over cooked noodles
