Ingredients
- 1 c flour, plus more for dusting
- 1/4 t salt
- 1/4 t dried thyme
- 1 t parsley
- 1 large egg
- 3 1/2 T milk

Preparation
Step 1
combine flour, salt, thyme, parsley in bowl.
add egg and milk, then work them together to form a soft dough. be careful not to overwork the dough or it will become tough.
on a litely floured surface, roll the dough to the thickness of a nickel. cut into 2x1 inch rectangles.
the pot pie squares expand to twice their uncooked size when placed in simmering water or stock. may be used to add extra taste and substance to almost any soup
