  • 4 ripe pears
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 1 Tbs. lemon zest
  • 2 cups Riesling
  • 4 Tbs. honey
  • Greek Yogurt (optional)

Step 1

Preheat oven to 400. Peel, core and halve the pears, placing them on a greased baking sheet. Drizzle each half with a little honey. Whisk together the wine, vanilla and zest in a warm saucepan for a few minutes before pouring mixture over the pears. Bake in oven for 45 minutes to an hour. You'll want to carefully take the dish out at least twice during baking and re-spoon the wine mixture on top of each half. Basting the fruit will give it added flavor and boost yummy factor! Serve warm with a scoop of Greek Yogurt if you wish!
