apple pecan pork chops

Ingredients
- 4 boneless loin chops(3/4-1 inch thick)
- salt
- ground pepper
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 medium red apple, cored and thinly sliced
- 1/4 cup chopped pecans
- 2 tbsp packed brown sugar

Preparation
Step 1
trim fat from meat. sprinkle with salt and pepper. set aside.
In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat until it sizzles. add apple slices, cook and stir 2 minutes. push apples to side of skillet. add pork chops, cook 4 minutes. turn chops, moving apples aside as needed. spoon apples over chops. sprinkle with pecans and brown sugar.
cover and cook 5-10 minutes or until pork is slightly pink in the center(160F) Serve apples and cooking juices over chops. makes 4 servings
