- 1 cup butter
- 1-1/2 Cup sugar
- 4 beaten eggs
- 2 Cups flour
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 tsp almond extract
- 1 - can Cherry or Blueberry or Apple pie filling

Directions:
In large bowl, cream butter and sugar. Add eggs and flour. Mix in extracts. Blend well. Spread batter into a greased and floured 15-1/2 x 10-1/2" cookie sheet. Cut through batter with knife to make 28 squares (4 rows x 7 rows). Spoon pie filling into center of each square (about 1 tsp). Batter puffs up around fruit. Bake at 350 for 45 minutes or less until golden brown. Cut into squares and sprinkle top with powdered sugar.
