Ingredients

  • Sour Cream Cornbread
  • 1 cup flour -- all purpose
  • 3/4 cup yellow corn meal
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 each egg -- beaten
  • 2 tablespoons butter -- melted
  • Pour into a greased 8 inch square pan. Bake at 425 for 20 minutes or until a pick comes out clean when inserted in the middle. Cut into 16 squares. Best Served Warm.
