Cranberry Bread
2 Cups all pourpose flur
1 cup sugar, cranberries - halved, and 1 cup walnuts or pecans, chopped
1 ½ tsp baking powder
½ tsp baking soda
1 tsp. Salt
¾ cup orange juice
1 tab. Grated orange peel
2 tab. Shortening
1 egg, beaten
Sift together all dry ingredients. Mix together all the rest, except cranberries and nuts. Blend both mixtures. Mix in cranberries and nuts. Pour into greased loaf pans. Bake for 1 hour at 350 degrees.
