Turkey Chowder

Saute onions and celery in butter in a large stock pot
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 2 stalks celery, chopped
- 2 Tbsp butter
- 2 c sliced carrots
- 3 c chicken broth (or 3 bullion cubes)
- 1 large floret broccoli, chopped
- 1/2 c oat flour (blend oats in blender to make flour)
- 2 c milk
- 6 oz Swiss cheese, grated
- 1 1/2 c diced turkey or chicken
Spicy Mixed Nuts

Beat egg white and water until frothy
- 1 egg white
- 2 tablespoons cold water
- 2/3 cup walnut halves
- 2/3 cup pecan halves
- 2/3 cup whole almonds
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon ginger
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
