Caramel Macchiato Thumbprints

Heat oven to 375°F. In large bowl, dissolve coffee powder in hot water
- 2 teaspoons instant espresso coffee powder or granules
- 1 tablespoon hot water
- 1 pouch (1 lb 1.5 oz) Betty Crocker® sugar cookie mix
- 1/4 cup Gold Medal® all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup butter or margarine, melted
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- 1 egg
- 18 caramels (from 14-oz bag), unwrapped
- 2 tablespoons milk
- 1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips
- 1 teaspoon shortening
White Tie Pasta

Cook pasta according to package directions; drain and keep warm
- 8 ounces bow tie pasta, uncooked
- 8 bacon slices, cut into pieces
- 1 (14-ounce) can quartered artichoke hearts, drained
- 1 (8-ounce) package sliced fresh mushrooms
- 1 cup sliced scallions (green onions)
- 1 (10-ounce) container refrigerated Alfredo sauce
- 2 tablespoons pine nuts, toasted (see Tip)
- 3/4 teaspoon freshly ground pepper
- 1 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
Sloppy Pizza Joes

In large skillet, cook beef over medium heat until no longer pink; drain
- 1 pound lean ground beef (90% lean)
- 1 jar (14 ounces) pizza sauce
- 3/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 3/4 teaspoon dried rosemary, crushed
- 3/4 teaspoon dried oregano
- 3/4 teaspoon dried basil
- 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 4 hamburger buns, split
- 4 slices part-skim mozzarella cheese
Anna's Old Fashioned Crisp Sugar Cookies

Mix all ingredients well in large mixing bowl
- 1 C shortening
- 1 C butter, soft
- 1 C white sugar
- 1 1/2 C powdered sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 t. vanilla
- 4 C flour
- 1 t. salt
- 1 t. baking soda
- Mix all ingredients well in large mixing bowl. Cover and chill in refrigerator over night.
- Roll into small balls. Place on ungreased cookie sheet and press with bottom of glass
- Bake at 350 for 10-12 minutes.
Crumb Boss Heart Healthy Chocolate Walnut Cookies

Combine all ingredients and mix well
- 2 c Walnuts
- 3 T Olive Oil
- 1 c Brown Sugar
- 1/2 c Water
- 1 T Van X
- 1 1/2 c Oatmeal processed to flour
- 1 t Baking Soda
- 1 t Salt
- 1/4 t Cinnamon
- 2 c Oatmeal
- 1 /2 c Chocolate Chips

- FILLING:
- 1 chocolate cake mix
- 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese (soft)
- 1/3 c. sugar
- 1 egg

In a large bowl, blend together the cream cheese, butter, lemon juice, and vanilla
- 16 oz. powdered sugar
- 8 oz. cream cheese (softened; not melted)
- 4 tbsp. butter (softened; not melted)

- 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes
- 1/4 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1/4 cup loosely packed fresh cilantro leaves

- 1/2 teaspoon salt

- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon fine salt
- 1 stick (8 tablespoons) unsalted butter, at room temperature
- 1/2 cup smooth, unsweetened almond butter
- 1/2 cup packed light brown sugar
- 1/3 cup plus 3 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 1 large egg
- 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
- 1/3 cup sliced, skin-on almonds, coarsely chopped
- 5 ounces semisweet chocolate, finely chopped
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- Special equipment: pastry bag with a star tip
