Mix all ingredients well in large mixing bowl

  • 1 C shortening
  • 1 C butter, soft
  • 1 C white sugar
  • 1 1/2 C powdered sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 t. vanilla
  • 4 C flour
  • 1 t. salt
  • 1 t. baking soda
  • Mix all ingredients well in large mixing bowl. Cover and chill in refrigerator over night.
  • Roll into small balls. Place on ungreased cookie sheet and press with bottom of glass
  • Bake at 350 for 10-12 minutes.
