Big-Batch Cheeseburger Bake

1 Heat oven to 375°F. Generously spray bottom and sides of 15x10x1-inch pan with cooking spray
- 1 1/2 lb (at least 80%) ground beef
- 1 1/4 cups chopped onions (about 2 large)
- 1 can (10 3/4 oz) condensed Cheddar cheese soup
- 1 1/4 cups frozen mixed vegetables
- 1/2 cup milk
- 2 1/3 cups Original Bisquick® mix
- 2/3 cup water
- 1 1/3 cups shredded Cheddar cheese (about 5 oz)

1. Adjust oven rack to middle position and heat oven to 425°
- 2 cups (10 ounces) unbleached all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 3 tablespoons sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 5 tablespoons chilled, unsalted butter, cut into 1/4-inch cubes
- 1/2 cup currants (I used dried cranberries, and chopped them into smaller bits)
