Easy Kentucky Burgoo

In a soup pot, combine chicken, beef, broth, and pepper; bring to a boil over high heat
- 1 (3-pound) chicken, cut into 8 pieces
- 1 pound beef top round, cut into 1/2-inch cubes
- 6 cups beef broth
- 1/4 teaspoon ground red pepper
- 2 (16-ounce) packages frozen vegetable gumbo mix, thawed
- 1 (6-ounce) can tomato paste
Spicy Peanut Chicken

1 Mix broth, cornstarch, sugar, soy sauce, vinegar and red pepper; set aside
- 1/4 cup chicken broth (from 32-ounce carton)
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon white vinegar
- 1/4 teaspoon ground red pepper (cayenne)
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1 pound boneless skinless chicken thighs or breast halves, cut into 3/4-inch pieces
- 1 garlic clove, finely chopped
- 1 teaspoon grated gingerroot
- 1 medium red bell pepper, cut into 3/4-inch pieces
- 1/3 cup dry-roasted peanuts
- 2 medium green onions, sliced (2 tablespoons)
Beef Cantonese

Brown beef and onion in butter
- 3 pounds round steak
- 1/4 cup onion...diced small
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 2/3 cup soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon ginger
- 2 (11 ounce) cans Mandarin oranges....SAVE juice
- 4 cups celery...sliced
- 2 (5 ounce) cans water chestnuts...drained and sliced
- 1 green pepper...cut in strips
- 4 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1/2 cup water
- 3 cups beef broth
- hot cooked rice
Spaghetti Seasoning Mix *(GOOD)*

Combine all ingredients in a small bowl until evenly distributed
- 1 tablespoon dried minced onion
- 1 tablespoon dried parsley flakes
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 2 teaspoons dried green pepper flakes
- 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
- 1/4 teaspoon instant minced garlic
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 3/4 teaspoon Italian seasoning or combination of oregano, basil, rosemary, thyme, sage, marjoram
Taco Soup

Cook and season meat in pan
- Can of the following:
- 2 lbs of ground beef
- Kidney beans
- Corn
- Black Beans
- Pinto Beans
- Ro-tel.
- 2 Cans of Diced tomatoes.
- 1 Package of dry ranch mix
- 1 Package of Dry Taco season mix
FRENCH CHICKEN

1. Place carrots, onions, celery, and garlic in bottom of slow cooker
- 1 lb. baby carrots
- 2 medium onions, sliced
- 2 ribs celery, diced
- 4 garlic cloves, peeled
- 3 lbs. bone-in chicken
- thighs, skin removed
- 1/2 cup white cooking wine or chicken stock
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. black pepper
- 1 tsp. dried basil
- 1/2 tsp. dried marjoram
- 2 Tbsp. chopped fresh parsley
Almost-Fried Chicken

Preheat oven to 350 degrees
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup cornmeal
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon black paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breast halves
- 1/4 cup olive oil
WILD RICE WITH CHICKEN

1. Wash and drain rice. 2
- 2 cups wild rice, uncooked
- 1/2 cup chopped onions
- 1/2 cup chopped celery
- 2 cups uncooked skinless chicken thighs, cut in 1-inch pieces
- 6 cups chicken stock
- 1/4 to 1/2 tsp. salt, depending how salty your stock is
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp. dried sage
- 8 –12-oz. canned mushrooms, drained, or 1/2 lb. fresh mushrooms, sliced
- 1/2 cup slivered almonds
- 2 Tbsp. fresh parsley

- 1 pkg. (16.5 oz.) NESTLÉ® TOLL HOUSE® Refrigerated Chocolate Chip Cookie Bar Dough, softened
- 1 can (12 fl. oz.) NESTLÉ® CARNATION® Evaporated Milk
- 1 pkg. (about 3.4 oz.) banana cream or vanilla instant pudding and pie filling mix
- 2 medium bananas, peeled and sliced
- 1 1/2 cups frozen whipped topping, thawed
- NESTLÉ NESQUIK Chocolate Flavor Syrup, (optional)

- 9 uncooked lasagna noodles
- 1 package (19-1/2 ounces) Italian turkey sausage links, casings removed
- 1/2 pound lean ground beef (90% lean)
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 can (28 ounces) diced tomatoes, undrained
- 1 can (12 ounces) tomato paste
- 1/4 cup water
- 2 teaspoons sugar
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- 1/2 teaspoon fennel seed
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1 egg, lightly beaten
- 1 carton (15 ounces) reduced-fat ricotta cheese
- 1 tablespoon minced fresh parsley
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups (8 ounces) shredded part-skim mozzarella cheese
- 3/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
