1. In a small saucepan, bring water to a boil, add oats, and bring to a boil once again
- 1/3 cup old fashioned oats
- 1 cup water
- tiny pinch salt (optional)
- 3 tablespoons sugar free maple syrup
- 1 tablespoon peanut butter (I like mine smooth)
- 1/3 small banana, thinly sliced (about 1/4 cup slices)
- 1/2 tbsp. chopped peanuts, optional
Yogurt Icing

Combine ingredients in mixing bowl
- 4 c. sifted powdered sugar
- 1/4 c. strawberry preserves (or any other flavor)
- 1/4 c. yogurt (plain or flavored) Don't use the ones that have fruit on the bottom. Vanilla works the best.
- 1/4 c. soft butter
Savory Sweet Potato Casserole

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Using 1 teaspoon butter, grease shallow 1-quart casserole
- 3 tablespoons plus 1 teaspoon butter
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 29 ounce can sweet potatoes, drained
- 1/3 cup Daisy Brand Sour Cream
- 1/4 cup loosely packed fresh parsley
- 3/4 cup dry Panko breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Super-bowl Chili

In large slow-cooker, mix all ingredients
- 2 cans (15 oz each) kidney beans, drained and rinsed
- 2 cans (15 oz each) spicy chili beans, undrained
- 1 can (15 oz) pinto beans, undrained
- 1 can (15 oz) white beans, drained and rinsed
- 2 cans (14.5 oz each) chunky tomatoes, undrained
- 4 1/2 teaspoons chili powder
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
French Onion Dip

Place the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 cups diced yellow onions
- 18 ounces plain nonfat Greek yogurt
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh chives
- 1 1/2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 3/4 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon white pepper
Slow Cooker Chicken Potato Pie

Put all of ingredients except potatoes into slow cooker
- 1 lb. uncooked chicken, cubed
- 1 family-sized can (26 oz) cream of chicken soup
- 1/2 C white wine or milk
- 1 can corn, drained
- 1 16-oz bag of frozen peas and carrots
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 4 oz mushrooms, chopped
- 1 t dried basil
- 1 t dried thyme
- 1/2 t sage
- 1/2 t pepper
- 3 red potatoes, sliced thin

- 1/2 t. salt
- 2/3 c. oil
- 2 T. vinegar
- 1 T. vanilla extract
- 2 c. cold brewed coffee or water
- 1/2 t. cinnamon
