In large pasta pot, bring water to boil
- 2 Tbsp soy sauce ($.10)
- 1/3 lb Ronzoni Healthy Harvest Linguini noodles ($.05)
- 1 box (2 frozen fillets) StarKist SeaSations Teriyaki Orange Ginger variety
- Juice from 1 orange (about 1/2 cup), plus zest from orange ($.33)
- 2 Tbsp Kobe Sesame Teriyaki A1 Sauce ($.01)
- 1 Tbsp fresh chopped parsley
- sunflower kernels $.25
Cowboy Casserole

Put chopped onion in bottom of crockpot; layer with browned ground beef, sliced potatoes and beans
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 1/2 pounds ground chuck, browned and drained
- 6 medium potatoes, sliced
- 1 can red beans
- 1 can tomatoes mixed with 2 tablespoons flour or
- 1 can tomato soup
- Salt, pepper and garlic to taste
Dad's Best Pork Chops

In small bowl, combine the first six ingredients
- 2 medium tomatoes, chopped
- 1/4 cup chopped onion
- 3 tablespoons minced fresh mint
- 1 jalapeno pepper, chopped
- 2 tablespoons key lime juice
- 1-1/2 teaspoons minced fresh rosemary
- 4 bone-in pork loin chops (3/4 inch thick)
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
Penny-Pinching Teriyaki Chicken

Place chicken in a large resealable plastic bag
- 2 1/2 to 3 pounds chicken thighs, skinned if desired
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 3 scallions, sliced
- 3 tablespoons light brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon minced fresh ginger
Sweet and Sour Chicken Tomato Stir-Fry *(GOOD)*

Rinse chicken and then slice into thin strips or bite-sized pieces
- 2 cups Sweet and Sour Sauce (recipe follows)
- 1 pound skinless, boneless chicken thigh
- 1/4 cup cornstarch
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1 1/2 teaspoons granulated sugar
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1/4 teaspoon fresh grated ginger
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 medium onion, sliced into half-moons
- 1 large green pepper, sliced into strips
- 2 stalks celery, thinly slice don the diagonal
- 3 medium fresh tomatoes, cut into wedges
- 4 stalks green onions, cut into 1-inch lengths
- Salt and pepper to taste
