- 1 (12 ounce) package vanilla wafers
- 2 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese
- 3/4 cup white sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 (21 ounce) can pie filling, any flavor of choice
Alma's Italian Cream Cake

1. Place a rack in the middle of the oven and preheat oven to 350°F
- For Cake:
- 2 cups cake flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 12 TBS (1 1/2 sticks) unsalted butter, softened to room temperature
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 5 large eggs, yolks & whites separated, at room temperature
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup sweetened shredded coconut (angel flake)
- 1 cup finely chopped walnuts, toasted
- For Cream Cheese Frosting:
- 1 cup chopped walnuts, toasted
- 1 8-ounce package cream cheese, softened
- 8 TBS (1 stick) unsalted butter, softened
- 1 TBS vanilla extract
- 4 cups (1 pound) Confectioners' sugar, sifted

In greased 6-qt. slow cooker, combine all ingredients
- 2 cans (28 ounces each) baked beans
- 3 cans (16 ounces each) kidney beans, rinsed and drained
- 2 cans (15 ounces each) pinto beans, rinsed and drained
- 1 pound smoked kielbasa or Polish sausage, sliced
- 1 jar (12 ounces) pickled jalapeno slices, drained
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 cup barbecue sauce
- 1/2 cup spicy brown mustard
- 1/4 cup steak seasoning

- 1 pound ground beef
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 (16-ounce) package frozen mixed vegetables
- 1 (10.75-ounce) can cream of chicken soup, undiluted
- 1 cup (4 ounces) shredded Cheddar cheese
- 1/2 (32-ounce) package frozen seasoned potato nuggets

Combine the lemon-pepper, garlic powder, thyme and cayenne; rub over fillets
- 1 teaspoon lemon-pepper seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 4 red snapper fillets (6 ounces each)
- 2 teaspoons olive oil, divided
- 1/2 medium sweet red pepper, julienned
- 3 green onions, chopped
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1 can (14-1/2 ounces) diced tomatoes, undrained
- 1/2 cup chopped pimiento-stuffed olives
- 1/4 cup chopped ripe olives
- 1/4 cup minced chives

- 1 tsp. ground oregano
- 1/2 tsp. ground cumin
- 1/2 tsp. hot pepper flakes
