  • 3 lbs meaty beef ribs
  • Liquid smoke (optional)
  • 2-4 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • 1 tablespoon cajun seasoning
  • 2 tablespoon brown sugar, packed
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt, can used a smoked salt as well
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 2 teaspoons oregano
  • Favorite BBQ Sauce (I only used a few tablespoons of Sweet Baby Ray's)

Put it all in the crock-pot and cook on low for at least 6-8 hours

  • 1 small zucchini (sliced down the middle and then each half was sliced into 1/4" slices)
  • 1 yellow squash (sliced the same as zucchini) if you don't have a yellow squash, use 2 zucchinis
  • 1 green bell pepper (diced)
  • 1 clove garlic (peeled & diced as small as you can) You HAVE to use fresh, not jarred!
  • 1 large sweet onion (diced)
  • 1-15 oz. can tomato sauce
  • 2-15 oz. cans of diced tomatoes
  • Fresh mushrooms (I used 5 large, chopped)
  • 2 tsp. Italian Seasoning (I used McCormick's Perfect Pinch Italian)
  • 2 tsp. oregano
  • 1 lb. hamburger (browned and drained)
  • 1 T. olive oil
  • Sugar to taste (I used 1 tsp. sugar substitute)
