Strawberry and Cream Sponge Cake

Mix eggs and sugar and place over double boiler until sugar is dissolved and mixture is warm to the touch
- Sponge Cake:
- 150 g Eggs (5.29 oz)
- 100 g Sugar (3.53 oz)
- 90 g Cake/Pastry Flour (3.17 oz)(Please use Cake Flour if you can. Pastry flour is fine but Cake Flour is better for its lower protein content.)
- 15 g Unsalted Butter (0.529 oz), melted
- 1 tbsp Milk
- Soaking Syrup:
- 2 tbsp Sugar
- 3 tbsp Hot Water
- 1 tbsp Kirsch-a type of brandy made from fermented cherries
- Toppings:
- 400 ml Whipping Cream with 35% fat (1.69 cup)
- 3 tbsp Sugar
- 450 g Strawberries (0.992 oz)Sliced, reserve some whole berries to decorate top.
- Powdered Sugar
- Parchment Paper (bottom): 18.4cm/7.24 inch diameter
- Parchment Paper (side): 6x58cm/2.36x22.8 inch
- Cake Pan (18cm/7.09 inch diameter)
Parmesan-Onion Soup

- 3 tablespoons butter, melted
- 4 cups onions, thinly sliced
- 1/2 teaspoon sugar
- 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
- 4 cups water
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 4 French bread slices, toasted
- 1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
Honey-Grilled Pork Tenderloin

In large resealable plastic bag, combine soy sauce, garlic and ginger; add pork
- 3 tablespoons reduced-sodium soy sauce
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1 pork tenderloin (3/4 pound)
- 4-1/2 teaspoons honey
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
Slow Cooker Twenty-Garlic Chicken Dinner

In small bowl, mix salt, paprika, pepper and oil to form paste; spread evenly over each piece of chicken
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1 teaspoon olive oil
- 3 to 3 1/2 lb cut-up frying chicken
- 1 large onion, sliced
- 1 medium bulb garlic (about 20 cloves)
Baked Crispy Chicken

If using chicken breasts and not tenders, cut each chicken breast into 3 large pieces
- Sauce:
- 2 lbs chicken tenders or 4 large chicken breasts
- 2 sleeves Ritz crackers, crushed
- 1/4 teaspoons salt
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper
- 1/2 cup whole milk
- 3 cups cheddar cheese, grated
- 1 teaspoon dried parsley
- 1 10 ounce can cream of chicken soup
- 2 tablespoon sour cream
- 2 tablespoon butter
BARBECUE SAUCE FOR RIBS:

Bring mixture to full boil, stirring to combine mixture
- In an accommodating kettle combine the following ingredients:
- 1 (46 oz.) can tomato juice
- 4 oz prepared mustard
- 1 (14 oz.) bottle ketchup
- 4 TB season salt
- 5 oz. A-1 Sauce
- 1 onion the size of an egg, chopped
- 6 oz. Heinz 57 Sauce
- 6 whole cloves garlic, peeled
- 5 oz. Worcestershire Sauce
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 4 oz. white vinegar
- 4 TB lemon juice
- 21 oz. water
- 3 dry bay leaves
SLOW COOKER MAC & CHEESE

1. Add evaporated milk, milk, macaroni, salt, butter and cheese into a large slow cooker
- 1 lb (16 oz) elbow macaroni
- 2 cups whole milk
- 1 (12 oz) can evaporated milk
- 1/2 tsp salt or more to taste
- 2 Tbsp butter
- 3 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
Samoas Dip

Using paddle attachment, cream butter and the cream cheese
- 8 oz. cream cheese, cold
- 8 oz. butter or margarine, cold
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 1 sleeve shortbread cookies (like Lorna Doone)
- 1 cup (or more, easily) toasted coconut
- 1 cup Caramel Hershey Kisses
- Semi-Sweet Chocolate for drizzling
Puerto Rican Grilled Pork Chops and Onions

Place chops and onion on grill
- 6 (3/4 to 1 inch thick) pork chops, trimmed
- 1 large onion, peeled and thickly sliced
- 1 cup of Mojo Criollo marinade plus more for basting
Golden Short Ribs

- 1 1/2 to 2 cups baby carrots, or carrot chunks
- 3 ribs celery, cut in chunks
- 1 large onion, cut in chunks
- 1 can (10 1/2 ounces) golden mushroom soup
