Teriyaki Salmon with Glazed Broccoli Salad

1. In small bowl, blend honey, teriyaki, vinegar, scallions and garlic; divide in half and set aside
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 2 tablespoons low-sodium teriyaki sauce
- 1 tablespoon rice wine vinegar
- 4 scallions, trimmed and thinly sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup sliced almonds
- 1 bunch (1-1/2 pounds) broccoli cut into florets; stalks peeled and cut in 1/4-inch coins
- 4 filets (about 4 ounces each) salmon
- 2 teaspoons cornstarch

1. In small bowl, stir together dry mustard, paprika, oregano, seasoned salt, sugar and pepper
- Rub & Ribs:
- 2 tablespoons dry mustard
- 2 tablespoons paprika
- 1 tablespoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon seasoned salt
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 2 teaspoons black pepper
- 1 full rack pork spare ribs (about 4 pounds)
- 1 bottle (12 ounces) beer or 1 1/2 cups beef broth
- Sauce:
- 1/3 cup packed light-brown sugar
- 1/3 cup cider vinegar
- 3 tablespoons ketchup

- 2 sticks butter (1 cup), room temp
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup dark brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon fine sea salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 XL eggs, room temp
- 2 1/4 cups of flour
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips or chunks
- 1/2 cup milk chocolate chips or chunks
Beef and Potato Skillet Dinner with Roasted Red Pepper Sauce

1 In food processor or blender, place roasted peppers and half-and-half
- 1 jar (7 or 7.25 oz) roasted red bell peppers, drained
- 1/2 cup half-and-half
- 4 teaspoons vegetable oil
- 1 bag (20 oz) refrigerated cooked diced potatoes with onions
- 1 lb boneless beef sirloin steak, cut into thin strips
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1 bag (12 oz) frozen broccoli florets, thawed
- 1 teaspoon chopped fresh tarragon leaves
Barbecue Sauce #2

Combine all ingredients in medium glass bowl
- 1 cup chili sauce
- 3/4 cup water
- 1/4 cup lemon juice
- 1 envelope (1 3/8 ounce) onion soup mix
- 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon dry mustard
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

Preheat oven to 400 degrees
- 1 pound elbow macaroni or other medium pasta shape
- 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper
- 1 (8-ounce) can tomato sauce
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 (14-ounce) can crushed tomatoes or 2 cups chopped fresh tomatoes
- 2 cups any combination of chopped fresh vegetables, like celery, onions, red and green bell peppers, zucchini, carrots, spinach, or parsley
- 1/2 cup canned chick peas, rinsed and drained
- 6 pitted ripe olives, sliced (optional)
- 1 cup (4 ounces) shredded mozzarella cheese

Preheat oven to 350°; and line 2 x 9" round cake pans with parchment or wax circles
- 2 cups (250 g) cake flour
- 1 tsp. (6 g) salt
- 2 tsp. (10 g) baking soda
- 1 tsp. (5 g) baking powder
- 3/4 cup (69 g) unsweetened cocoa
- 2 cups (400 g) sugar
- 3/4 cup (180 ml) vegetable oil
- 1 cup(240 ml) hot coffee
- 1 cup (240 ml) milk
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp. (4 g) vanilla
SEMI-HOMEMADE CINNAMON ROLLS

Arrange rolls in 9 x 13 inch pan (four down middle and three on either side, spaced between four in middle)
- 1 tubes of Pillsbury Grands cinnamon rolls
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
BROWN SUGAR MEAT LOAF

Preheat oven to 375. Pour the brown sugar into a 9x5 loaf pan and press it into the bottom
- 1/2 cup ketchup
- 1 1/2 pounds meatloaf mix (equal parts ground beef, ground veal and ground lamb, although all ground beef will work fine too)
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 3/4 cup milk
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 3/4 cup bread crumbs
The Best Grilled Portobello Mushroom Burgers

In a large bowl, whisk together vinegar, soy sauce, oil, rosemary, and Montreal steak seasoning
- 4 portobello mushroom caps
- 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
- 1 tbsp low sodium soy sauce
- 1 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tbsp chopped rosemary
- 1-1/2 tsp steak seasoning like Montreal Steak Grill Mates
- 4 thick slices red onion
- 4 oz reduced fat Swiss, sliced thin (Alpine lace)
- 4 thin slices tomato
- 1/2 avocado, sliced thin
- baby spinach
- 4 whole wheat low calorie buns (I used Martin)
