- 2 Hass avocados, peeled and cubed
- 3 Mission figs or 2 dried figs, diced
- 1/4 cup chopped red onions

- 1/8 tsp cumin
- 1/2 tsp sea salt
Neiman Marcus Chocolate Chip Cookies

Preheat oven to 375. Grind oats in food processor until it is a fine powder
- 5 cups oats, blended
- 2 cups butter
- 2 cups sugar
- 2 cups brown sugar
- 4 eggs
- 2 tsp vanilla
- 4 cups flour
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 2 tsp baking soda
- 1 1/2 lbs chocolate chips
- 8 oz dark chocolate, grated
- 3 cups nuts, chopped
Quick Frosting

- 1 lb confectioners sugar

Make Ahead Casserole

- 2 slices wheat bread, torn or cut into cubes
- 1 lb ground Italian sausage
- 6 eggs, beaten
- 2 cups milk
- 1 tsp dry mustard
- 1/2 tsp salt

- 1 1/2 cups thinly sliced, cooked, unpeeled red potatoes

Peel and seed tomatoes: Cut an X in the bottom of each tomato
- 6-7 lbs fresh tomatoes
- 2 TB olive oil
- 2 cups chopped onions
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 6 oz tomato paste
- 1/2 cup fresh basil, chopped
- 2-3 TB fresh oregano, chopped
- 1 TB salt

- 2 bay leaves
- 1/2 cup dry red wine

1. Heat 1/2 tbsp vegetable oil in a large pot over medium-high heat
- TOPPINGS:
- 1 lbs lean, ground beef or 1 1/2 lbs filet mignon, cut into 1/2 inch cubes
- 1 to 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 large onion, chopped (about 1 cup)
- 2 cloves garlic, chopped
- 2 tbsp tomato paste
- 1 28 oz. can whole plum tomatoes (no salt added), coarsely crushed with hands
- 1 1/2 cups low-sodium beef or chicken broth
- 1 14.5 oz. can red kidney beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 14.5 oz can black beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 tsp black strap molasses (optional)
- 2 red bell peppers, chopped
- 1 tbsp cumin
- 1/3 cup dark chili powder
- Freshly ground pepper
- Hot sauce, to taste

- 1/2 of a 17.3-ounce package Pepperidge Farm� Puff Pastry Sheets (1 sheet), thawed
- 1 egg
- 1 tablespoon water
- 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 2 large Granny Smith apples, peeled, cored and thinly sliced
- 2 tablespoons raisins
- Confectioners' sugar (optional)

- 3 pounds small white boiling potatoes
- Kosher salt
- 2 tablespoons good dry white wine
- 2 tablespoons chicken stock

- 1/2 teaspoon Dijon mustard
