Brussel Sprouts & Bacon

- 5 slices bacon
- 2 tbs unsalted butter
- 3 large shallots, sliced thinly
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 1/2 brussel sprouts, trimmed and outer layers removed, quartered
- 1/2 c chicken broth
- 2 tbs balsamic vinegar
- 1/4 tsp sugar
- 1 tsp sea salt
- coarse black pepper
Buttermilk Strawberry Cake

This cake is scrumptious! It has a filling of strawberries
- 1 1/2 c flour
- 3/4 tsp baking powder
- 3/4 tsp baking soda
- 3/4 tsp salt
- 6 tbs unsalted butter,softened
- 1/2 c sugar
- 1/2 c turbinado sugar, plus more sprinkling
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 c strawberries, sliced

- 3 tbs evoo, plus greasing dish
- 8 oz whole wheat bread, cut into 1/2" cubes
- 5 oz baby spinach, finely chopped
- 1/2 c crumbled feta cheese
- 2 tsp dijon mustard
- 1/2 tsp finely grated lemon zest
- 1 tbs lemon juice
- 6 eggs, beaten
- 2 c milk
- S&P
- 1 tsp chopped oregano

- 1 8 oz pkg cream cheese, softened at room temp
- 1 14 oz sweetened condensed milk
- 3/4 creamy peanut butter
- 3 tbs lemon juice
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup heavy whipped cream
- 2 tsp chocolate curls
- Chocolate Pie Crust:
- 1/3 cup butter
- 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
- 2 1/2 rice crispies

- 2/3 packed dark brown sugar

- Cake:
- 1 1/2 sticks butter, room temp, plus more for pan
- 2 1/2 c cake flour (not self-rising)
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- coarse salt
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 eggs plus 2 egg yolks

Awesome Bacon Jam

This is an awesome bacon jam
- 1 1/2 pounds Smithfield sliced bacon, cut crosswise in 1 inch pieces
- 2 cups shallots, finely chopped, mix between big and small
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp chili powder
- 1/2 tsp ground ginger
- 1/2 tsp ground mustard
- 1/2 cup bourbon!
- 1/4 cup pure maple syrup
- 1/3 cup sherry vinegar, must have!
- 1/3 cup packed light-brown sugar
Pumpkin bread Pudding with Bourbon Pecan sauce

- 1 pound challah bread, cut into 1 inch cubes
- 1 3 lb butternut squash
- 1 1/4 cus sugar, plus more for sprinkling
- 4 large eggs
- 3 cups whole milk
- 1 14 oz can pure pumpkin puree
- 1 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp nutmeg
- 1/4 tsp ground cloves
