Simple, but at the same time delicious spicy pie
- 1 package puff pastry (250 g)
- 2 1/4 lbs. fresh spinach (or 1 lb. frozen)
- 1 onion
- 2 garlic cloves
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt, pepper, nutmeg
- 5.5 to 7 oz., the feta or other goat cheese
- 1 egg yolk
- 1 tbsp sesame seeds for sprinkling

Orange Muffins

Preheat the oven to 350˚ F
- Muffins:
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 cup freshly squeezed orange juice
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 2 large eggs
- 2 sticks (16 tbsp.) unsalted butter, melted
- 3 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 1/2 tbsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- Zest of 1 orange (organic if possible)
- Glaze:
- 1/4 cup freshly squeezed orange juice
- 1 1/2 cups confectioners’ sugar
- 1-2 tsp. orange zest (organic if possible)
Blueberry Muffins

Preheat an oven to 375°F
- Muffins:
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
- Grated zest of 1/2 lemon
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 egg, beaten
- 5 Tbs. unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 2 cups fresh blueberries or 2 1/2 cups frozen unsweetened blueberries, unthawed
- Topping:
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 3 Tbs. all-purpose flour
- Grated zest of 1/2 lemon
- 2 Tbs. unsalted butter, melted
- 1/3 cup pecans, finely chopped (optional)
Love-Your-Suds Shampoo

A rather unusual Moroccan Chicken Pie that is both savoury and sweet
- 1/4 cup butter, plus
- 1/2 cup additional butter, melted, for brushing phyllo
- 2 (4 lb) chicken
- 2 bunches parsley, chopped
- 1 large onion, minced
- 1/4 teaspoon crumbled saffron thread
- 1/2 lb blanched whole almond, toasted lightly, cooled and ground
- 1 1/4 cups icing sugar
- 4 large eggs, beaten lightly
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 3 teaspoons cinnamon
- 10 sheets phyllo pastry, covered with damp towel

- 3 cups (24 fl. oz./750 ml) half-and-half
- 1/2 cup (4 oz./125 g) sugar
- 1 vanilla bean, split in half lengthwise
- 3 cardamom pods, crushed
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 2 lb. (1 kg) Meyer lemons
- 4 cups (2 lb./1 kg) sugar
- 1/2 cup (4 fl. oz./125 ml) water
- 1 vanilla bean, split in half lengthwise
