Agave Ketchup

Mix all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth
- 2 6 oz. can tomato paste
- 1 8 oz. can tomato sauce
- 1/4 C water
- 1/4 Agave Nectar
- 1 t salt
- 1/4 t cumin
- 1/2 t dijon
- 1/2 t onion powder
- 1/2 t garlic powder
- 1/2 t chili powder
- pinch of cinnamon (optional)
- 3 T cider vinegar
- 3 T white wine vinegar

- 1 can (46 oz) unsweetened pineapple juice
- 1 can (20 oz) crushed pineapple in juice
- 1 can (12 oz) frozen orange juice concentrate, thawed
- 6 cups water
- 6 cups sugar
- 2 bottles (2 liters ea) lemon-lime soda
Burnt Sugar Cake

Method – Burnt Sugar Syrup Heat the sugar in a cast iron skillet or another heavy bottomed pan with high sides
- For the Cake
- 3 cups all purpose flour
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup (2 sticks) butter
- 13/4 cups sugar
- 4 eggs
- 1/2 cup Burnt Sugar Syrup (below)
- For the Burnt Sugar Syrup
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup boiling water
- For the Burnt Sugar Frosting
- 33/4 cups confectioners sugar
- 1/2 cup Burnt Sugar Syrup (above)
- 1/4 cup (1/2 stick) butter
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 – 3 tbsp evaporated milk or normal milk
Biscuits and Gravy

Preheat oven to 400 degrees and place rack in center of oven
- Ingredients:
- 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 Tbl sugar
- 1/2 cup cold butter, cut into small pieces
- 3/4 cup milk
- 1 large egg, lightly beaten
- Melted butter to top biscuits
- Sausage Gravy
- 6 biscuits, recipe above
- 3/4 lb. sausage
- 1 stick butter
- 1/2 tsp. black ground pepper (or, to taste)
- 1 c. flour (or less for thinner gravy)
- 1/2 tsp. cayenne pepper
- 1 qt. milk
Agave Peanut Sauce

Put all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth
- 1 T agave
- 4 T peanut butter
- 2 T fresh lime juice
- 1 t fresh minced ginger
- 1 t fresh minced garlic
- 1/2 C low fat coconut milk
- 3 T soy sauce
- Crushed red pepper to taste
Agave Barbecue Sauce

Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth
- 2 C tomato sauce
- 1/2 C water
- 1/2 C balsamic vinegar
- 1/3 C agave
- 1/2 T onion powder
- 1/2 T garlic powder
- 1/2 t salt
- 1 T dijon mustard
- 1/4 C worcestershire sauce
Brownies

Cream butter, sugar and cocoa; add eggs, one at a time, creaming well after each addition
- 1 c. butter
- 2 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. cocoa
- 4 lg. eggs
- 2 c. flour
- 2 tsp. Vanilla
Chocolate Fudge Cake

1. Weigh or lightly spoon flour into dry measuring cups; level with a knife
- 3.4 ounces all-purpose flour (about 3/4 cup)
- 2/3 cup unsweetened cocoa
- 5 teaspoons instant espresso powder
- 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 2/3 cup granulated sugar
- 2/3 cup packed brown sugar
- 1 cup egg substitute
- 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 (2.6-ounce) bar dark (71% cocoa) chocolate (such as Valrhona Le Noir Amer), finely chopped
- 2 tablespoons powdered sugar

Really Easy Fudge

Follow directions within the ingredients
- Cream Mixture:
- 4 C sugar
- 1 pt. cream
- 1 T karo
- Heat on low until sugar is dissolved. Then boil until 240 degrees without stirring. While bowling add:
- two sticks of butter.
- Do not touch the sides or bottom of pan while stirring in the butter.
- Pour over bowl of:
- 2 c chopped good quality chocolate
- When melted pour into greased pan for at least 1 hour.
Company Chicken

Roll chicken in crumb mixture and fry in butter
- Crumb Mixture:
- 2/3 C butter, melted
- 1/2 C dried bread crumbs
- 2 T parm. cheese
- 1 t basil
- 1 t oregano
- 1/2 t garlic salt
- 1/4 t salt
- 5 chicken breasts
- Topping:
- 1/4 C apple juice
- 1/4 C chopped green onion
- 1/4 C parsley
- 1 C sliced mushrooms
