Bob and Melda’s Salad

Pour dressing over salad about 1/2 hour before serving
- Dressing:
- 2 heads romaine lettuce
- 2 peeled tomatoes, chopped
- 1/4 c green onion, chopped
- 1 c aged romano cheese, grated
- 1 lb finely chopped bacon (thick cut)
- 1/2 c croutons
- 1/2 c olive oil
- juice of 1 lemon
- ground pepper
- 1 t fresh mint
- 1/4 t oregano
- garlic
- 1 coddled egg
Roquefort Croutons

Combine butter and cream cheese in bowl and beat together until smooth
- 1 1/2 T butter
- 4 oz cream cheese
- 3 oz Roquefort cheese
- 1 1/2 T chives
- salt
- pepper
- 18 1/4 " thick slices of sourdough baguette
- 2 T olive oil
Summer Salad

Layer first 6 ingredients
- pasta sheets, cut 3 1/2" square and cooked
- tomatoes
- mozzarella
- basil
- spinach
- pesto
- pine nuts
- grated cheese
Cherry Tomato Salad

Combine all ingredients and serve
- 2 T balsamic vinegar
- 2 T red wine vinegar
- 1 large shallot, minced
- 1 t minced garlic
- 1/4 c plus 2 T olive oil
- salt
- pepper
- 3 pints cherry tomatoes, halved
- 1/3 c basil, finely shredded
- yellow pear tomatoes (optional)
Mrs. Riley's Meat Loaf

Remove crust from bread. Put bread under faucet
- 1 lb ground beef (chuck is best)
- 2 pieces stale bread
- 1 egg
- parsley
- dried onion
- Bell's seasoning
- bacon
- Crisco
- 1 can tomato sauce
- salt
- pepper
Lemon Baked Chicken

In a bowl combine lemon juice, oil, garlic and pepper
- 1 2 1/2 - 3 lb frying chicken, cut up
- 2 T oil or melted margarine
- 3 T lemon juice
- 1 clove garlic, crushed
- freshly ground pepper
Blue Cheese Toasts

Preheat broiler. Mix cheese and butter in a small bowl
- 1/4 c blue cheese, crumbled
- 2 T butter, at room temp
- baguette, sliced
- sugar
Beef Tenderloin

Slice tenderloins into thick pieces
- ten derloins
- garlic
- olive oil
- salt
- pepper
- cayenne pepper
- butter
- crumbled blue cheese
Hot Fudge Sauce

Microwave butter. Add chips and stir well
- 6 T butter
- 1 c chocolate chips

- 4 lb tenderloin
- 2 T soft butter
- 1/2 c chopped green onion
- 2 T butter
- 2 T soy sauce
- 1 t Dijon mustard
- pepper
- 3/4 c dry or golden cream sherry
