  • 1 lb ground beef (chuck is best)
  • 2 pieces stale bread
  • 1 egg
  • parsley
  • dried onion
  • Bell's seasoning
  • bacon
  • Crisco
  • 1 can tomato sauce
  • salt
  • pepper



Step 1

Remove crust from bread. Put bread under faucet. Wring out and mix with egg, parsley, dried onion, and Bell's seasoning. Brown bacon with Crisco and a little water. Simmer. Add tomato sauce, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 45 min with a loose cover on top.
