Sauté the ground beef. Stir in remaining ingredients and simmer uncovered for 10 minutes

- 8 ounces tomato sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt

- 3/4 cup warm water
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 tsp salt

Combine sugar, milk, and cornstarch and cook on medium heat until thick and then set aside to cool
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 cup milk
- 3 T. cornstarch
- 1/2 cup Crisco
- 1 tsp vanilla

Leek and Cauliflower Soup

- 4 cups thinly sliced leeks, white and light green parts only (from about 3 medium leeks)
