Preheat oven to 350 F. Spray 13-by-9-by-2-inch baking pan with cooking spray

- Nonstick corn oil cooking spray
- 1 cup whole wheat flour
- 1 cup unbleached white flour
- 2 tbsp unsweetened cocoa
- 1 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp nutmeg
- 1/8 tsp cloves
- 3/4 cup chopped dates
- 3/4 cup chopped raisins
- 3/4 cup chopped nuts
- 2 eggs
- 1 jar (16 ounces) unsweetened applesauce (1 2/3 cups)
- 1/4 cup corn oil
- 1/2 cup finely chopped nuts
- 2 tbsp sugar
Cheese Nuts

- 1/2 lb grated Cheddar cheese
- 1 cup whole wheat flour
- 3 tbsp oil
- 1/4 tsp salt
- Dash of cayenne

- 1/3 cup finely chopped nuts
