Healthy Apple Strawberry Pie

In a blender container place the oats
- 3/4 cup rolled oats
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 3 tbsp skim milk
- 3 tbsp cooking oil
- 1 cup strawberries
- 3/4 cup water
- 1/2 of a 6-ounce can (about 1/3 cup) frozen apple juice concentrate
- 3 tbsp cornstarch
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- Several drops red food coloring, optional
- 5 cups halved strawberries
- Vanilla yogurt, optional
Doggie Bag Burritos

Spread half the steak and vegetables in the center of each tortilla leaving 1-inch along the perimeter
- 2 (8-inch) flour tortillas
- Cooked steak, cut into thin strips
- 6 tbsp chopped, cooked potato, mushrooms, and/or vegetables
- 4 tbsp shredded cheese
- 2 tbsp steak sauce (optional)
Apple and Pumpkin Tart

Although pumpkin pie is traditional, you may want to start your own tradition with this simple but elegant dessert
- 1 (8-inch) frozen pie crust, thawed (instead of using a frozen commercial piecrust, you can make your own tart shell and chill before adding the filling.)
- 1 1/2 cups pumpkin puree
- 3 medium cooking apples, peeled, cored and diced
- (Granny Smith, Jonathan, Cortland or your favorite variety)
- 1/2 cup apple cider
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 eggs plus 2 egg whites, slightly beaten
- 1/2 cup currants
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/8 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1/2 teaspoon dried marjoram
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Apple Dip Carrot Cake with Caramel Cream Cheese Frosting

- Cake:
- One 9 ounce package Marzetti brand Apple Crisp Mix
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 1/4 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp ground ginger
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 3 large eggs
- 1 cup sugar
- 3/4 cup vegetable oil
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup orange juice
- 3 cups shredded carrots
- 1 large apple, peeled and grated
- 1 cup finely chopped walnuts, optional
- Frosting:
- 19 ounces plain cream cheese, softened
- 4 tbsp butter, softened
- 2/3 cup Marzetti brand Caramel Apple Dip
- 2 tsp pure vanilla extract
- Extra Marzetti brand Caramel Apple Dip for garnishing cake
Homemade Graham Crackers

Preheat oven to 400 F. Combine flours and baking powder
- 1 cup flour (graham or whole wheat)
- 1 cup bleached all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 cup butter or margarine
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup milk
Macarooned Fruit

- Macaroon Fruit Dip:
- 1 bunch table grapes
- 4 plums
- 4 nectarines
- 4 peaches
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
