- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup sugar, divided use
- 1 vanilla bean (or 1 teaspoon vanilla)

Crunchy Honey-Vanilla Granola

Preheat oven to 325 F. Lightly oil a large, rimmed baking sheet
- 4 cups old-fashioned (rolled) oats
- 1 cup wheat bran
- 1 cup unsweetened shredded coconut
- 1 cup chopped walnuts
- 1/2 cup firmly packed light brown sugar
- 1 tbsp ground cinnamon
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1/2 cup canola oil, plus additional for greasing the pan
- 2 tbsp 2% reduced-fat milk
- 1 tsp vanilla
Mole Spiced Pumpkin Seeds

- 2 cups dried pumpkin seeds
- 3 tbsp brown sugar
