In a 1-1/2 qt. microwave container stir together peanuts, sugar, syrup, & salt
- 1-1/2 Cups raw spanish peanuts
- 1 Cup sugar
- 1/2 Cup light corn syrup
- 1/8 t salt
- 1 t vanilla
- 1 t butter
- 1 t baking soda
Best-ever Cream of Corn Soup

Melt butter in a 3 quart saucepan over medium high heat
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/4 cup all purpose flour
- 2 cups skim milk
- 2 15-1/4 oz cans whole kernel corn,
- undrained
- 1/2 t salt
- 1/4 t pepper
Mushroom Quiche Lorraine

Line unpricked pastry shell with a double thickness of heavy-duty foil
- 1 unbaked 9" pastry shell
- 1 cup sliced fresh mushrooms
- 1/2 cup chopped green onions
- 2 T butter
- 4 eggs
- 1-1/4 cup half and half
- 1/8 t pepper
- 1 cup (4 oz) shredded swiss cheese
- 4 bacon strips, cooked and crumbled
Brown sugar-Raisin Bread

In a bowl, sprinkle the yeast and a pinch of the granulated sugar over 1⁄2 cup of the water and stir to dissolve
- For the filling:
- 1 Tbs. active dry yeast
- 3 Tbs. granulated sugar
- 1 1⁄4 cups warm water (105° to 115°F)
- 1 cup warm milk (105° to 115°F)
- 3 Tbs. unsalted butter, melted
- 1 Tbs. salt
- 1 egg, lightly beaten
- 6 to 6 1⁄4 cups bread flour, plus more
- as needed
- 3 ⁄4 cup golden raisins
- 3 ⁄4 cup dark raisins
- 2 ⁄3 cup firmly packed light brown sugar
- mixed with 4 1⁄2 tsp. ground cinnamon

- 1 large apple
- Juice of one lemon
- 4 T brown sugar
- 1/2 cup unbleached flour

Italian Sausage and Zuchini pasta

Cook pasta according to package directions
- 12 oz. fettuccine
- 1 T olive oil
- 1 lb. Italian sausage, broken into 1/2 inch chunks
- 2 T minced garlic
- 1/2 cup sliced onions
- 1 lb. zuchini
- 2 medium tomatoes cut in 1" chunks
- 1/2 t freshly ground pepper
- 2/3 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
Saucy Stir-fried Pork

Cook rice as directed on package
- 2 cups instant white rice, uncooked
- 1/4 c. Kraft Zesty Italian Dressing
- 1 lb pork tenderloin, cut into thin strips
- 1 red pepper, cut into thin strips
- 8 oz. sugar snap peas
- 3 green onions, diagonally sliced
- 2 T soy sauce
- 1 t. cornstarch
- 1/2 t. ground ginger
Egg Salad

- 8 eggs
- 1/4 C. sliced green onion
- 1 t. yellow mustard mustard
- 1/2 C. mayonnaise
- 1/4 t. paprika

Lemon Pudding Cakes

- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/3 cup all-purpose flour
- 3 large eggs, separated
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, at room temperature
- 1 cup skim milk
- 5 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon finely grated lemon zest
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- Fresh raspberries or blackberries, for serving
Banana Oat Bars

Heat the oven to 350°F and lightly grease a 9x9-inch square baking dish with olive oil or butter
- 2 large, very ripe bananas
- 1 teaspoon vanilla (optional)
- 1-3/4 cups quick rolled oats
- 1/2 teaspoon salt (optional)
- 1/2 cup pitted, chopped dried dates
- 1/4 cup chopped nuts — such as walnuts, hazelnuts or pecans
- 1/4 cup ground flaxseed
