In a medium bowl, stir together the flours, baking powder, nutmeg and salt until well combined
- 1 cup white whole-wheat flour
- 1/2 cup unbleached all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- Generous 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg (or cinnamon)
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 3 Tablespoons butter
- 1 Tablespoon canola oil
- 1 large egg
- 1/2 cup light brown sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Cube Steak & Gravy in Crockpot

- 1/2 c. flour
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder

- 2 cups all purpose flour

- Ingredients for frosting:
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup water
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup (2 sticks) salted butter + 1 T. butter
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon sea salt

- 2 qts water
- 1 tsp salt
