SWEDISH MEATBALLS

Combine 2/3 c evaporated or regular milk, onion, crumbs, salt, allspice and pepper
- 2/3 c evaporated milk
- 2 T butter
- 2/3 c chopped onion
- 2 beef builion cubes
- 1/4 c dry bread crumbs
- 1 c boiling water
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 c cold water
- 1/2 tsp allspice
- 2 T flour
- dash of pepper
- 1 c milk
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 T lemon juice
CHOCOLATE CURLS

Large: Melt 4 oz semisweet chocolate
- Small: Place one or more squares of semi-sweet chocolate on a piece of foil. Let stand in warm place for 5-10 minutes or until slightly softened. With a vegetable peeler and using long strokes, shave chocolate from the bottom of the square.
PUMPKIN CHEESE CUPCAKES

Prepare cake batter as directed on package
- 1 package spice cake
- 3.4 oz Jello Vanilla instant pudding
- 1 can canned pumpkin
- 8 oz cream cheese
- 1/4 c sugar
- 1 egg
MARTHA WASHINGTON CANDY (DUANE’S GIFT)

Mix all ingredients together, shape into little balls, place on a cookie sheet and freeze
- 1/2 c margarine
- 2 c pecans (chop fine)
- 2/3 c condensed milk
- 1 1/2 tsp vanilla
- 1 lb 10X sugar
- 4 c Bakers coconut
- 1 T lemon juice (frozen Minute Maid)
Stuffed Peppers

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C)
- 1 onion, diced
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
- 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
- 1 pound lean ground beef
- 1/4 pound hot Italian pork sausage, casing removed
- 1 (10 ounce) can diced tomatoes
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh Italian parsley
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- 1 pinch ground cayenne pepper
- 4 large green bell pepper, halved and seeded
- 1 cup finely grated Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese
APPLE DUMPLING (Aunt Vesta Swartz)

Make dumplings and spread around apple
- 3 c flour
- 4 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 5 T Crisco
- 1 c milk or more
LASAGNA

Cover and bake 50 minutes; uncover 20 minutes
- Add and cook 1 hour:
- 1 lb ground beef, pepper and 3/4 lb sausage
- Cook over medium heat
- 3-8 oz tomato sauce, 12 oz tomato paste, garlic, 2 tsp sugar, 1 tsp Italian seasoning, 1 tsp salt, 1/2 tsp pepper
- Mix: 24 oz cottage cheese
- 8 oz ricotta
- 3 eggs, 3 T parsley
- 1/2 c parmesan
- 9 lasagna noodles.

- 1/3 pound smoked maple bacon, cut into 1/4-inch pieces
- 3/4 cup milk
- 2 (1 ounce) squares unsweetened chocolate
- 2 cups white sugar
- 3 tablespoons butter, cut into 1-tablespoon chunks
- 2 tablespoons vanilla extract
Heather's Icing

Cream Crisco and butter. Add 10X sugar, hot water and vanilla
- 6 lb 10X sugar
- 5 T hot water
- 5 T clear vanilla
- 1.7 lb Crisco (3.4 cups)
- 1.7 lb butter (3.4 cups)
MICROWAVE CORDON BLEU

Tuck in sides and roll up jelly-roll fashion
- Pound 3 chicken breasts with mallot until 1/4” thick. Place slice of ham and cheese (6 slices of each) on chicken.
