Molasses Cookies

Melt first 3 ingredients in sauce pan
- 1 c sugar
- 3/4 c Crisco
- 1/4 c molasses
- 2 c flour
- 2 t baking soda
- 1/2 t ginger
- 1/2 t cloves
- 1 t cinnamon
- 1 egg
Cider-Mustard Glaze

Stir together all ingredients in a small saucepan; bring to a boil over high
- 1 cup apple cider vinegar
- ¾ cup lightly packed light brown sugar
- ¼ cup whole-grain mustard
- ½ teaspoon kosher salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
Chewy Oatmeal Cookies

Heat oven to 375. Grease baking sheets
- 3/4 c butter flavored Crisco
- 1-1/4 c firmly packed brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 1/3 c milk
- 1-1/2 t vanilla
- 3 c oats, uncooked
- 1 c flour
- 1/2 t baking soda
- 1/2 t salt
- 1/4 t cinnamon
- 1 c raisins
Brown Butter Caper Raisin Sauce

Melt butter in small skillet over medium heat
- 3 T unsalted butter
- 1-1/3 c sherry vinegar
- 1 t sugar
- 1/2 t kosher salt
- 1/3 c golden raisins
- 3 T olive oil
- 2 T capers
- 1/2 c roughly chopped fresh flat-leaf parsley
- 1/4 t pepper
Comeback Sauce

Mix all ingredients together
- 1 c homemade mayonnaisse
- 1/4 c chili sauce
- 2 T ketchup
- 1 T lemon juice
- 1 t smoked paprika
- 2 t Worcestershire sauce
- 1 t hot sauce
- 1/2 t kosher salt
- 1/2 t garlic powder
- 1/2 t onion powder
- 1/2 t dry mustard
- 1/4 t black pepper
Do It All Sugar Cookies

Whisk together flour, cornstarch, baking powder and salt in a medium bowl
- 3 c flour
- 3 T cornstarch
- 1 t baking powder
- 1/2 t salt
- 1 c sugar
- 3/4 c unsalted butter, softened (1-1/2 sticks)
- 1/4 c canola oil
- 1 T vanilla
- 2 t lemon zest
- 1 egg
- 1 egg yolk
Cheese Soup

Brown onion in butter. Add flour, cornstarch, paprika and pepper
- 1/2 c onion, chopped
- 1/4 lbs. butter
- 1/2 c flour
- 1 T cornstarch
- 4 t paprika
- dash of pepper
- 1 qt. milk
- 16 oz. chicken broth
- 1/2 c finely diced celery
- 1/2 c finely sliced carrots
- 1/2 lb. cut processed cheese (like Velveeta)
- 1/4 lb. cheddar, cut up
Kale-White Cheddar Galette

1.Preheat oven to 375 degrees F
- 1 recipe Pastry for a Single Crust Pie
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 shallot, thinly sliced
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 10 cups chopped, stemmed kale
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh sage
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup shredded white cheddar cheese (2 oz.)
- Milk (optional)
- 1/2 lemon

- 2 large pasteurized eggs yolks
- 1 t white wine vinegar
- 1 t lemon juice
- 1/2 t kosher salt
- 1/4 t onion powder
- 1/4 t Dijon mustard
- 1/4 t hot sauce
- 1/8 t sugar
- 1 c canola oil
