BBQ Sauce-family favorite

Favorite family recipe for BBQ sauce
- 3 cup Ketchup
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 2 Tbsp liquid smoke (or Worcestershire sauce)
- 2 tsp garlic powder
- 1-2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1/4-1/2 cup minced onion
Mama's Famous Meatloaf~THM-S

Recipe from Trim Healthy Mama Cookbook
- Topping:
- 1/2 large onion, chopped
- 3 lbs ground beef (or venison or turkey)
- 3 large eggs
- 2 tsp onion powder
- 3 tsp minced onion
- 2 tsp garlic powder
- 2 1/2 tsp mineral salt
- 3/4 tsp black pepper
- 3 Tbsp prepared yellow mustard
- 6 Tbsp Trim Healthy Ketchup or store bought sugar-free
- 3 Tbsp Trim Healthy Mama Baking Blend (KC: I sub Flax Meal)
- 1/2 cup Trim Healthy Ketchup or store bough sugar-free
- 2 Tbsp prepared yellow mustard (KC: I reduce to 1 Tbsp)
- 2-3 Tbsp Gentle Sweet or 1 Tbsp Super Sweet Blend
Whipped Coconut Fruit Dip

Scoop a cup of coconut cream into a mixing bowl
- 1 cup coconut cream (from 1 can coconut cream), cold, with no water added
- 1 Tbsp. maple syrup
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
Cheesy Scalloped Potatoes

- 1 can Cream of Chicken Soup
- 1 pint Sour Cream
- 1 stick butter, melted
- Salt

- Vegetable cooking spray
- 2 Pounds GROUND TURKEY(or chicken)
- 1 Can (4 ounces) chopped green chilies, drained
- 1 Cup chopped onion
- 1 Package (1-1/4 ounces) taco seasoning mix
- 8 8-inch flour tortillas
- 1 Can (16 ounces) non-fat refried beans
- lettuce, shredded.
- 1/2 Cup Cheddar cheese, grated
- salsa
Coconutty Cinnamon Banana Bread~Gluten-free

- 8 eggs
- 2 mashed ripe bananas
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- 5 teaspoons cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup melted coconut oil
- 5 tablespoons maple syrup or honey
- 1/2 cup shredded coconut
- 3/4 cup coconut flour
- Note: It’s a very dense bread. However, if you want you can add 1/2 teaspoon or so of baking soda/powder.
Creamy Cheesy Chicken in Crock pot (THM-S)

- Extra optional ingredients for flavor:
- 3-4 pounds boneless chicken breasts or thighs
- sea salt
- black pepper
- 8-16 ounces Cream Cheese
- 1 can green chili peppers
- garlic powder or fresh minced garlic
- grated cheese
Turkey Swedish Meatballs

Mix together salt, allspice, and pepper in a medium mixing bowl
- Serves 3-4 (18-24 meatballs):
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon ground allspice
- 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- 1 pound ground turkey breast
- 1 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil
- 3/4 cup lower-sodium chicken broth
- 3 tablespoons reduced-fat sour cream
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
- My variation, Serves 8-12 (60-72 meatballs):
- 1 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon ground allspice
- 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- 3 pound ground turkey breast
- 1-2 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil (*I use coconut oil)
- 2 cup chicken broth
- 1/3 cup sour cream (*I use Coconut Milk=DF, add guar gum if necessary for thickener)
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley, optional
- NOTE:makes very little sauce--so I mat ty doubling sauce ingredients**

- 2 scoops WheyProtein Isolate Powder
- Pinch Sea Salt
- 8 packets Truvia
- 1/4 tsp. Raspberry Extract
- 1 tsp. Vanilla Extract
