Crockpot Beans for Burritos or Bean Dip

My variation on recipe by Sue Gregg
- Optional for added flavor:
- 5 1/2 cups dry Pinto Beans
- 1 tsp Garlic Powder
- 3 1/2 quarts Water
- 1/4 cup Chili Powder
- 2 tsp Salt
- 1 tsp Garlic Powder
- 1 tsp ground Cumin
- 1/4 cup each butter & olive oil
- 2 onions chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced

- Dry Ingredients:
- 3/4 cups cocoa powder (sift if it’s lumpy)
- NOTE: the cake pictured is very dark because I used organic black cocoa powder
- 1/3 cup coconut flour, sifted
- 1/3 cup tapioca or arrowroot (or can use chia meal)
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon sea salt
- Wet Ingredients:
- 5 eggs
- 1 cup applesauce with no added sugar
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon liquid vanilla stevia
- 1/4 cup melted coconut oil
- OPTIONAL: You know how we love stevia, but it is possible to omit the stevia from this recipe. If you omit the stevia then increase the honey to 3/4 cup, and decrease the applesauce to 1/2 cup :-)
- Drizzle:
- 1/2 cup cacao butter
- 1 teaspoon honey

- Sweetener to taste (options include: pure maple syrup, NuNaturals alcohol-free vanilla stevia drops, or agave. I haven’t tried granulated sugar or powdered stevia in this recipe.)

Ahead of time: peel and slice the over-ripe bananas into chunks
- 3 medium bananas, the riper the better (for substitutions, see nutrition notes below)
- 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
- 1/16 tsp salt
- 3 tbsp cocoa or cacao powder (15g)
- optional: sweetener of choice, depending on your tastebuds and ripeness of the bananas
- optional: 3-5 tbsp peanut butter or another nut butter of choice

- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1-1/2 teaspoons garlic powder
- 1-1/2 teaspoons ground mustard
- 1-1/2 teaspoons paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon celery salt
- 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/8 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/8 teaspoon dried basil
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- Pinch pepper
- 4 pork loin chops (about 3/4 inch thick and 8 ounces each)
- 1 to 2 tablespoons canola oil
- 1 cup ketchup
- 1 cup water
- 1/4 cup packed brown sugar

- Optional: 6 drops Orange Vitality Essential Oil (we use Young Living)
