Berry Vodka Spritzers

Halve the limes and squeeze into a pitcher
- 4 limes
- 3 T sugar
- 1 liter club soda
- 1 cup berry-flavored vodka
- 1 cup blueberries
- 1 cup raspberries
Caprese BLT

Place tomato slices on several layers of paper towels and sprinkle with 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 medium tomatoes, sliced thin
- salt
- 1 tbsp. extra-virgin olive oil
- 1 tbsp. balsamic vinegar
- 1 loaf ciabatta
- 1 1/3 c. packed fresh basil
- 1/3 c. mayonnaise
- 2 tsp. lemon juice
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1/8 tsp. hot sauce
- 8 slices bacon, cooked until crisp, drained, and crumbled

White Chocolate Cranberry Biscotti

Preheat oven to 325 degrees F
- 2 c. flour
- 1 1/2 tsp. calumet baking powder
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/2 c. (1 stick) butter, softened
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 1/2 c. Post selects cranberry almond crunch cereal
- 3 squares Baker’s premium white baking chocolate chopped
- 4 squares Baker’s semi-sweet baking chocolate, melted
Foolproof Pie Dough

Process 1 1/2 cups flour, salt, and sugar in food processor until combined, about 2 one second pulses
- 2 1/2 c. (12 1/2 oz.) unbleached all purpose flour
- 1 tsp. table salt
- 2 tbsp. sugar
- 12 tbsp. (1 1/2 sticks) cold unsalted butter cut into 1/4 inch slices
- 1/2 c. cold vegetable shortening, cut into 4 pieces
- 1/4 c. cold vodka
- 1/4 c. cold water
Wisconsin Cheddar Beer Soup

1. Melt butter in large pot over medium heat
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1 onion, chopped fine
- 2 carrots, peeled and chopped fine
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1/3 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 3/4 cups low sodium chicken broth
- 1 (12-ounce) beer (Miller High Life)
- 2 cups whole or low-fat milk
- 3 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded American cheese
- 2 teaspoons cornstarch
- Salt and pepper
- Popped pop corn (optional)
Baked Stuffed Shrimp

Adjust oven rack to upper-middle position and heat oven to 375 degrees
- 4 slices hearty white sandwich bread, torn into pieces
- 1/2 c. mayonnaise
- 1/4 c. bottled clam juice
- 1/4 c. finely chopped fresh parsley
- 4 scallions, chopped fine
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 tsp. grated zest and 1 tbsp. juice from 1 lemon

- 1 lb. pasteurized crabmeat, drained if necessary
- 1 large egg white
- 3/4 c. plain dry breadcrumbs, divided

- 1 pt. grape tomatoes, halved
- 10 to 14 fresh small mozzarella cheese balls, cut into thirds* (Small "pearls of mozzarella work as well)
- 32 (4-inch) wooden skewers**
- 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
- 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
- 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 6 thinly sliced fresh basil leaves
