Directions In a small bowl, dissolve yeast in warm water
- 1 (.25 ounce) package active dry yeast
- 1 cup warm water (110 degrees F/45 degrees C)
- 2 cups bread flour
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoons white sugar
Parmesan Smashed Potatoes

Pre heat the oven to 350 degrees F
- 3 pounds Yukon Gold Potatoes, cleaned and dried (use your favorite potato variety)
- Olive Oil, Coconut OIl, Ghee or Butter
- Garlic Salt
- Black Pepper
- Smoked Paprika
- a few ounces shaved Parmesan Cheese
- fresh herbs such as Parsley, Thyme, Rosemary. Your choice.

Pasta with Sun-Dried Tomatoes

- 1/2 pound fusilli (spirals) pasta
- Kosher salt
- Olive oil
- 1 pound ripe tomatoes, medium-diced
- 3/4 cup good black olives, such as kalamata, pitted and diced
- 1 pound fresh mozzarella, medium-diced
- 6 sun-dried tomatoes in oil, drained and chopped
- 5 sun-dried tomatoes in oil, drained
- 2 tablespoons red wine vinegar
- 6 tablespoons good olive oil
- 1 garlic clove, diced
- 1 teaspoon capers, drained
- 2 teaspoons kosher salt
- 3/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan
- 1 cup packed basil leaves, julienned

- 1 4-pound boneless beef sirloin or beef rump roast, cut into 2- to 3-inch pieces
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 0.7-ounce envelope Italian dry salad dressing mix
- 2 teaspoons dried Italian seasoning, crushed
- 1/2 to 1 teaspoon crushed red pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 10 to 12 hoagie buns, kaiser rolls or other sandwich rolls, split
- 1-1/2 cups shredded Italian blend cheeses (6 ounces) (optional)

- 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted and cooled
- 1 1/3 cups freshly grated zucchini
- 1/3 cup mashed banana (1 small-medium banana)
- 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips

- 6 ounces whole-wheat angel hair pasta
- 2 teaspoons extra-virgin olive oil
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
- 1/2 pound sweet Italian chicken sausage, casings removed
- 2 green bell peppers, diced
- 1/2 pound button or cremini mushrooms, sliced
- 1/2 teaspoon seasoned salt
- 1/4 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1 28-ounce can crushed tomatoes
- 1 cup torn fresh basil leaves
- Cooking spray, for the pan
- 1/2 cup shredded part-skim mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
