- 2 teaspoons granulated sugar

- 2 tablespoons milk
- 1 tablespoon butter, melted

- 1/4 teaspoon sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1 1/2 tablespoons regular or light soy sauce
- 2 teaspoons dark soy sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon MSG (totally optional!)
- Fresh ground white pepper
- 5 cups cooked rice
- 3 tablespoons canola oil, divided
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 3/4 cup peas
- 1 scallion, chopped
