Ultimate Fully-Loaded Bloody Mary

The most important part of a Bloody Mary is the tomato juice
- Special equipment: Cocktail shaker
- 1 tablespoon celery salt or (or plain kosher salt, if you prefer)
- 1/4 lemon, cut into two wedges
- 1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 teaspoon soy sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper (or less to taste)
- Dash cayenne pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon hot sauce (such as Franks)
- 1/2 teaspoon freshly grated horseradish (or 1 teaspoon prepared horseradish)
- 2 ounces vodka (or use tequila)
- 4 ounces high-quality tomato juice
- 1 stick celery
"Lemon Sheet Cake"

Before you start mixing the ingredients, prepare a sheet pan and pre-heat the oven to 325° F
- CAKE:
- 2 1/2 cups cake flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon table salt
- 3/4 cup buttermilk
- 3 tablespoons grated lemon zest
- 1/4 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 3/4 cup white sugar
- 12 tablespoons (1 1/2 sticks) butter, softened
- 4 large eggs
- CHOCOLATE FROSTING:
- 1/2 cup Finely Chopped Pecans
- 1-3/4 stick Butter
- 4 Tablespoons (heaping) Cocoa
- 6 Tablespoons Milk
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla
- 1 pound (minus 1/2 Cup) Powdered Sugar
- LEMON GLAZE:
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- juice of 1 small lemon
Roasted Garlic and Smoked Black Pepper White Cheddar Cheese Bread

Preheat oven to 400 degrees
- 1 head garlic
- 1 teaspoon olive oil
- salt
- 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup shredded Tillamook Smoked Black Pepper White Cheddar Cheese
- 1 tablespoon mayonnaise
- 1/2 loaf of french bread (1 loaf cut in 1/2 lengthwise)
- chopped fresh parsley for garnish
Perfect Sticky Toffee Date Pudding

Makes about 18 little puddings when baked in muffin tins
- To a small saucepan add:
- 8 ounces chopped pitted dried dates
- 1 1/2 cups water
- Bring to a boil and simmer over low heat for only a couple of minutes. Let stand for a few minutes while preparing the rest of the batter.
- Cream together:
- 1/3 cup butter
- 1 cup firmly packed brown sugar
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- Beat in, one at a time, beating well after each addition:
- 2 extra large eggs
- Add in and beat well:
- 3 tbsp molasses
- 2 tbsp golden syrup (or substitute dark corn syrup)
- Sift together:
- 1 2/3 cups all purpose flour
- 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
- Add the dry ingredients to the creamed mixture in three equal portions mixing until smooth after each addition.
- Puree the date mixture in a food processor or blender before mixing in
- 1 tsp baking soda
- Add this hot mixture immediately to the batter and mix until smooth.
- Pour batter into well greased and floured muffin tins and bake for about 18 - 20 minutes at 350 degrees F until the center is just firm. Serve warm with Toffee Sauce.
- Toffee Sauce:
- 1/2 cup whipping cream
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar
- 1 tbsp molasses
- 2 tbsp golden syrup
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
GARLIC PARMESAN KNOTS
