- 1 1/2 cups (300 grams) granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup (105 grams) firmly packed light brown sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon table salt
- 1/2 cup (120 ml) light corn syrup
- 1/2 cup (120 ml) water
- 4 tablespoons (55 grams) butter, salted or unsalted
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 1/2 teaspoons sea or coarse salt (more or less to taste)
