Crockpot Seafood Cheese Dip

Combine processed cheese food, cream cheese, sour cream, shrimp, crab, and lobster in a crockpot
- 1 (8 ounce) package processed cheese food (such as Velveeta®)
- 2 tablespoons reduced-fat cream cheese
- 1 1/2 cups sour cream
- 1/2 cup cooked small shrimp
- 1/2 cup cooked crabmeat, flaked
- 1/2 cup cooked lobster, flaked
- 2 teaspoons seafood seasoning (such as Old Bay®)
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 loaf (1/2-inch-thick) slices French bread, lightly toasted
Baked Slow Cooker Chicken

1.Wad three pieces of aluminum foil into 3 to 4 inch balls, and place them in the bottom of the slow cooker
- 1 (2 to 3 pound) whole chicken
- salt and pepper to taste

- 1-2 pounds thin steak meat (I used flank steak)
- 1/4 t kosher salt
- 1 t Five-Spice Powder

- 1/4 t black pepper
- 6 cloves minced or chopped garlic
- 2 T soy sauce (La Choy and Tamari wheat-free are GF)
- 1 T white wine vinegar

Place 2 bread slices on work surface
- 4 * 4 (1/3-inch-thick) slices egg bread
- 2 1/2 * 2 1/2 tablespoons whole grain Dijon mustard, divided
- 4 * 4 thin slices aged white cheddar cheese (cut to size of bread), divided
- 4 * 4 thin slices smoked turkey
- 4 * 4 thin slices smoked ham
- 4 * 4 leaves mustard greens (trimmed to size of bread)
- 2 * 2 large eggs
- 3 * 3 tablespoons butter
Pumpkin Whoopie Pies

1. Preheat the oven to 350°
- 1 1/2 sticks (6 ounces) unsalted butter, 1 stick melted, 1/2 stick softened
- 1 cup packed light brown sugar
- 2 large eggs, at room temperature, lightly beaten
- 1 cup canned pure pumpkin puree
- 1 tablespoon pumpkin pie spice
- 1 1/2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 3/4 teaspoon plus 2 pinches salt
- 1-2/3 cups flour
- 4 ounces cream cheese, chilled
- 1 cup confectioners' sugar

- 4 English muffins, split

Sweet-and-Sour Shrimp

1. Cook rice in microwave as directed on package
- 2 packages (8.8 oz each) microwavable long-grain white rice
- 1 tbsp canola or vegetable oil
- 1 medium onion, cut into 1/2-inch chunks
- 2 medium green bell peppers, cut into 1-inch pieces (about 2 cups)
- 1 1/2 lb uncooked deveined peeled medium shrimp, thawed if frozen, tail and shells removed
- 1 can (20 oz) pineapple chunks in juice, drained
- 1 1/2 cups sweet-and-sour sauce
Pumpkin Turnovers

1. Pre-heat oven to 400ºF
- 1 small baking pumpkin or 1 butternut squash or 2 acorn squash, split in half and seeded
- 4 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil (EVOO)
- Salt and ground black pepper
- 2 links cured chorizo, casing removed and finely chopped (about 1/2 cup)
- 5-6 sprigs thyme, leaves picked
- A few dashes hot sauce
- 2 teaspoons regular or sweet smoked paprika (about 2/3 palmful)
- A pinch ground cinnamon
- All-purpose flour, as needed for rolling out crust
- 2 packs prepared pie crusts, such as Pillsbury (the ones that aren't pressed into a pie plate)
