I do love a good yeast-raised doughnut, and in fact in most ways, they're easier to make than their cake-style coun...
- For the sponge:
- 4.2 ounces all-purpose flour
- 0.5 teaspoons instant yeast
- 3.5 ounces lukewarm water
- 1 large egg
- For the doughnuts:
- 5.8 ounces all-purpose flour
- 2.5 teaspoons instant yeast
- 0.6 ounces dry milk
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 0.5 ounces sugar
- 1 large egg, cold
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 2 ounces butter at room temperature
- Canola oil for frying
- Extra fine sugar for rolling (for jelly doughnuts)
- Raspberry or other fruit jam for filling (for jelly doughnuts)
Butterfly Cake

1. Heat oven to 350°F (or 325°F for dark or nonstick pans)
- Cake:
- 1 box Betty Crocker® SuperMoist® yellow cake mix, Water, vegetable oil and eggs called for on cake mix box
- Platter, tray or foil-covered cardboard (about 10x10 inches)
- Frosting and Decorations:
- 1 container (1 lb) Betty Crocker® Rich & Creamy vanilla frosting
- 1 candy stick (8 to 10 inches long)
- Food color (in desired colors)
- Betty Crocker® decorating gel (from 0.68-oz tube) in any color
- Decorating sugar crystals (any color)
- 8 jelly beans
- Small round candy decorations

DIRECTIONS 1. Heat oven to 375°F
- INGREDIENTS
- 1 package (1 oz) Old El Paso® taco seasoning mix
- 2/3 cup water
- 1 1/2 cups Old El Paso® Thick 'n Chunky salsa
- 1 lb lean (at least 80%) ground beef, cooked, drained
- 1 can (16.3 oz) Pillsbury® Grands!® refrigerated biscuits (any variety)
- 1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese or Mexican cheese blend (4 oz)
- 1 cup sour cream, if desired

1. Melt butter in a medium saucepan over medium low heat
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 clove garlic, crushed
- 1 1/2 cups freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
Quick Vanilla Buttercream Frosting

In a standing mixer fitted with a whisk, mix together sugar and butter
- * 3 cups confectioners' sugar
- * 1 cup butter
- * 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- * 1 to 2 tablespoons whipping cream

1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C)
- Ingredients
- 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
- 2 tablespoons white sugar
- 3 tablespoons melted butter
- 3 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup white sugar
- 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 3/4 cup eggnog
- 2 eggs
- 2 tablespoons rum
- 1 pinch ground nutmeg
Pasta Fagioli with Sausage

1. In large saucepan, heat oil over medium-high heat
- 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
- 1/2 pound sweet Italian sausage, casings removed
- 3 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
- 3 large chicken bouillon cubes, dissolved in 6 cups hot water
- 1 can (28 ounces) crushed tomatoes
- 1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
- 1/4 teaspoon onion salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 pound ditalini pasta
- 2 cans (19 ounces each) cannellini beans, drained and rinsed
- 1/2 cup shredded Parmesan cheese

1. Heat oven to 350°F. Spray cookie sheet with cooking spray
- 1 can (8 oz) Pillsbury® refrigerated crescent dinner rolls or 1 can (8 oz) Pillsbury® Crescent Recipe Creations® refrigerated seamless dough sheet
- 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/3 cup finely chopped pepperoni (about 1 1/2 oz)
- 2 tablespoons finely chopped green bell pepper
- 1/2 cup shredded Italian cheese blend (2 oz)
- 1/2 cup pizza sauce (from 8-oz can)
Cookies 'n Creme Fudge Brownies

1. Heat oven to 350°F. Grease bottom only of 13x9-inch pan with shortening or cooking spray
- 1 box (1 lb 2.3 oz) Betty Crocker® fudge brownie mix
- 2/3 cup vegetable oil
- 1/4 cup water
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup coarsely chopped creme-filled chocolate sandwich cookies (about 7 cookies)
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 2 to 4 teaspoons milk

1. Prepare cake per mix for two 8-9" layers
- 1 pkg. (2-layer size) lemon cake mix
- 2 pkg. (3.4 oz. each) JELL-O Lemon Flavor Instant Pudding
- 1-1/2 cups cold milk
- 1 tub (8 oz.) COOL WHIP Whipped Topping, thawed
